Free asthma screenings are held at more than 200 locations across the country.

At a screening, you'll answer questions about your symptoms, take a simple breathing test that involves blowing into a tube, and meet with an allergist to discuss your results.

No one needs to suffer from asthma. An allergist, an expert at diagnosing and treating asthma, can help you determine if you are at risk for asthma. If you already know you have asthma, the screening can help you find out if your disease is under control.
This year, a special effort is being made to reach people who may have difficulty breathing during or immediately after exercise and may have a condition called exercise-induced bronchospasm (EIB).
The Nationwide Asthma Screening Program is supported by Teva Respiratory, LLC.
Dates and locations for screening programs will be posted beginning in March.
