Stanislos Jaros Lecture (until 2008)

The Jaros Lecture was established by the American Association for Clinical Immunology & Allergy (AACIA) to honor one of its founders, Stanislaus Jaros. For years Dr. Jaros, the son of a New York City janitor, worked tirelessly to obtain an examining board for the specialty of allergy.  Unfortunately, he did not live to see the American Board of Allergy & Immunology become a reality, but he was instrumental in laying the groundwork for its creation.
