We invite you to attend the 2010 Annual Meeting of the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, Nov. 11-16 in Phoenix, Arizona.  The meeting offers an exciting array of educational sessions for physicians, allied health professionals, office managers and asthma educators, as well as some fantastic social events.

Registration Fees

A complete schedule of annual meeting fees can be accessed online or by checking the registration forms in the center of the printed Preliminary Program.

     

Confirmations

Online registrants are urged to print the confirmation screen at the end of the registration process.  Registrants who submit forms by fax or mail will receive a confirmation by mail.  Please bring your confirmation to the meeting as this is proof you are registered.

Cancellation Policy

You may receive a refund if your cancellation is received in writing (mail, fax or email) before October 18, 2010, minus a $75 administrative charge.  No refunds of $5 or less will be made.

Housing

The ACAAI Annual Meeting will be held at the Phoenix Convention Center and the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Hotel.  The convention hotels include the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown & Hyatt Regency Phoenix.

The housing forms may be found in the center section of the Preliminary Program or are downloadable below.

All hotel reservations must be made through the ACAAI Housing Bureau either online via the internet, or by fax or mail using the enclosed housing form through October 6th. The ACAAI hotels will not accept reservations directly.  A credit card guarantee is required. 

ACAAI has reserved a special block of sleeping rooms for meeting attendees at the following hotels.

Any changes or cancellations are required to be done online or in writing to hsgcoor@visitphoenix.com. 

The deadline for reservations is Wednesday, October 6, 2010.

Hotel reservations / rate availability are not guaranteed after the room block is full or after October 6, 2010.  Please register early – only a limited number of rooms are available at each hotel.

ADDITIONAL RESERVATION INFORMATION

Attendees

  • Credit cards used to guarantee the reservation:  If the credit card on file is to be used to pay for all night’s room and tax and will not be presented at check in, a hotel credit card authorization form must be obtained and returned to ACAAI Housing Bureau prior to October 20th.  This credit card authorization form will be sent to your hotel prior to all reservation information being transmitted to the respective hotels when the ACAAI Housing Bureau closes it’s participation October 28th, midnight, EDT. 
  • Beginning October 29, any new, modifications or cancellations will be done with the hotels.
  • Any reservation secured with a check deposit and cancelled at any time will be subject to the ACAAI Housing Bureau $25 cancellation/processing fee prior to refunding any balance due.
  • After October 6, 2010, midnight, EDT, any reservation cancelled will be subject to the ACAAI Housing Bureau $25 cancellation/processing fee.
  • The credit card securing any reservation may be charged by the respective hotel for one night’s room and tax anytime after October 28, midnight, EDT.
  • The ACAAI hotels will maintain the ACAAI Housing Bureau cancellation policy of a $25 cancellation/processing fee for any reservation cancelled after October 28, midnight, EDT, up to 72 hours of the guests scheduled arrival. 
  •  Any reservation cancelled in entirety within 72 hours of the guest’s scheduled arrival, the guest’s one night’s room and tax deposit will be forfeited.

Exhibitors

  • Exhibitor rooming lists are due by 4 pm, MST, September 15, 2010. 
  • Any rooms remaining in the exhibitor’s block and unreserved by 4 pm, MST, September 15, 2010, will be released.
  • Any exhibitor taking advantage of and setting aside to reserve for their company a block of rooms for housing, will be responsible for all reservations made after 4 pm, MST, September 15.
  • The credit card securing any reservation may be charged by the respective hotel for one night’s room and tax anytime after October 28th.
  • If any exhibitor blocked room is cancelled in entirety at any time after 4 pm, MST, September 15th and up to 72 hours of scheduled arrival, the guest will be charged the ACAAI Housing Bureau $25 cancellation/processing fee.  
  • Any reservation cancelled within 72 hours of the guest’s scheduled arrival, the guest’s one night’s room and tax deposit will be forfeited.

 

Transportation

ACAAI Official Travel Agency & Special Airfare Discounts

ACAAI has arranged with United Airlines for special discounts on airfares to Phoenix.  Please mention the ACAAI Meeting ID number (listed below) when making your airline reservations.

To book your reservation, call ACAAI’s official travel agency, Uniglobe Preferred Travel, at 1-800-626-0359 and after the prompt dial “0” (M-F 8:30 am – 5:30 pm CST).  Uniglobe Preferred Travel has ACAAI’s Meeting ID number and if applicable will automatically be entered for every reservation called in or booked on-line. If you prefer you may:

  • Book your travel online at www.uniglobepreferred.com. Scroll down and click on Rapid-Rez links.  When the booking page comes up, click on “Create New User”. Enter personal information, click “done”; the next page is for more detailed personal information – here you must enter a credit card number and billing address to make a reservation. Scroll down and click “Save”. Click on the “Travel Planner” tab to make a reservation.  Please record your User ID and your Password for future use.  Discount fares are automatically displayed on this site and booking on this site will have a reduced agency service fee of $15.
  • Call United’s toll-free number, 1-800-521-4041.  Mention the ACAAI’s Meeting ID number – 586NG, to qualify for discount fares.

All speakers must register for the meeting either online or by fax/mail.

Fellows-in-Training
Fellows-in-Training or Residents may qualify for complimentary or reduced registration fees by submitting a letter from their program director stating his/her educational status.  Letters can be mailed, faxed or emailed.

In addition, Fellows-in-Training may apply for Travel Grants.  More than 200 Travel Grants to attend the meeting are available through the ACAAI's "Committee of 200".
