ACAAI Mentor Program 

In response to the numerous questions from young physicians concerning how to set up a private practice, balancing family life and practice, becoming involved in leadership roles in ACAAI as well as becoming involved in committees and speaking roles for the College, the Women in Allergy Committee developed the ACAAI Mentor Program. This program is open to all Fellows-in-Training and young physicians and will last one year after matching.

There are two applications available online:

1. ACAAI Mentor Request: This very short form is to be completed by the FIT or young physician. The information included on the form will be used to match the applicant with an established ACAAI member and for no other purpose. Please print the form, complete and fax to Mary Lou Callaghan at 847-427-1294. 
   
   
2. ACAAI Mentor Agreement: This form is to be completed by the established allergist/immunologist. The information included on the form will be used to match the established ACAAI member with a Fellow-in-Training or young physician and for no other purpose. Once matched, it is the responsibility of the mentor to contact the FIT/young physician and arrange future communication. Please print the form, complete and fax to Mary Lou Callaghan at 847-427-1294.
