Learn What You Need to Know
about Pay-for-Performance
with an Online Web Presentation
Pay for Performance (P4P) will impact clinical services and reimbursement for allergists in the coming years. An online presentation has been created to give you a basic understanding of P4P, how it may change your practice, and the things that are being done by your professional societies to advocate your interests.
The Web-based presentation has been prepared by the Joint Task Force on Quality and Performance Measures – a joint committee of the ACAAI and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI) and the Joint Council of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (JCAAI). The task force was formed so that allergists can participate in making the best practice decisions and setting the standards by which allergy care will be evaluated.
The Pay for Performance presentation was developed by Michael Blaiss, MD, and Michael Schatz, MD, MS, co-chairs of the Joint Task Force on Quality and Performance Measures, and Donald W. Aaronson, MD, executive director of JCAAI.
