Sports Medicine
Purpose:
The Sports Medicine Committee monitors, provides recommendations to the Board of Regents and implements programs in the area of sports medicine as it relates to allergy and asthma.
Current projects include:
- Implementation of exercise asthma screening programs in high schools, using the free running test
- Speaking engagements before the National Trainers Organization
- Sponsorship of annual meeting workshops on sports medicine
