Public Education
Purpose:
The Public Education Committee monitors, provides recommendations to the Board of Regents and implements programs to educate the public and patients about allergies and asthma.
Current projects include:
- Development of patient and public education brochures
- Responses to queries from the public at the ACAAI public site on the World Wide Web
- Promotion of the Nationwide Asthma Screening Program
- Allergist/Pharmacist Campaign
