Managed Care and Health Plans

Purpose:

The Managed Care and Health Plans Committee is responsible for monitoring and evaluating allergy and asthma care benefits in health plans, including managed care, and providing policy recommendations to the Executive Committee and the Board of Regents.  The committee also may be asked by the Board or Executive Committee to implement or coordinate initiatives that improve allergy and asthma benefits in health plans, enhance patient access to affordable care, and assist employers and benefits managers in the purchase or design of health plans.
