Dermatological Allergy
Purpose:
The Dermatological Allergy Committee monitors, provides recommendations to the Board of Regents and implements programs in the area of dermatological allergy.
Current projects include:
- Education of other health care workers on allergic skin disease
- Increase public awareness on the role of the allergist in the management of skin allergies using an urticaria education program
- Initiate and coordinate special programs with other organizations
- Preparation of three surveys to address needs of training program directors, fellows-in-training and member allergists
