Continuing Medical Education/Continuing Professional Development

Purpose:

To provide the Board of Regents with an annual written report and evaluation of all educational programs of the College and recommendations for future programs, prepare required reports to the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education, and have available on a consulting basis a professional educator with extensive background and experience in CME. 

Composition:

Consists of a maximum of nine members, three of whom shall be appointed each year by the President-Elect to staggered three-year terms.  In addition, the President-Elect and Executive Director shall serve as ex-officio without vote.  The chair shall be appointed by the President-Elect from among the committee members to a one-year term.
