Adverse Reactions to Foods

Purpose:

The Adverse Reactions to Foods Committee monitors, provides recommendations to the Board of Regents and implements programs in the area of adverse reactions to foods.

Current projects include:

  • Education of primary care physicians and allergists about food hypersensitivities, including annual meeting workshops
  • Promotion of the doctor-dietitian-nutritionist team concept to managed care organizations and legislative bodies
